Senate confirms Travis Randall McDonough to federal bench in Tennessee

The Senate yesterday confirmed Travis Randall McDonough to the district court for the Eastern District of Tennessee.  McDonough is a 1997 graduate of Vanderbilt Law School and was with Miller and Martin for 16 years, where his practice focused on white-collar criminal and civil litigation.  He was head of the firm’s litigation department from 2012 to 2013.  In 2013, McDonough became Chief of Staff and Counselor to Chattanooga Mayor Andy Berke.
